My name is Sofía Muñiz George and I am a creative individual from Guaynabo, Puerto Rico; currently based in New York City.

The idea of becoming a visual development artist started when my creativity was heavily influenced by my grandmother, Margarita Iguina Bravo, who has written and published nine amazing books, naming one of them "Las Aventuras de Kirilo: En busca de una Estrella''. This story gave me my purpose to study animation, specifically, storytelling and concept development at the Savannah College of Art and Design, which inspired me to pitch and direct a short film adaptation of it named “Kirilo”.

I am currently working as a Character Designer Intern at Cleos Studios, contributing to the development of an original animated project. In addition to this, I also work as a freelance artist, focusing on projects that reflect my cultural background and passion for storytelling.
